precious, precious silver and gold.

I’ve leared to fight for what I want.
I’ve leared to fight for what’s right.
I’ve leared I can fight when I need.

Anything worth having in life is worth fighting for.
That’s how I’ve come to look at it.
Amazing how the advice I spout, standing in the Lambda corridor, clutching someone else’s bottle of Godiva liqueur, never hits me as truth ’til it leaves my mouth. It’s true for the girl I spoke to in the stairwell, drunker than I’d ever seen her, pouring her heart out as easily as she poured her drinks. It’s true for the girl I spoke to in the hallway, handing her the rest of her white wine, and soaking in her gorgeous blonde hair. It’s true even if they’re both fighting for the same guy. It’s not an all-out brawl, it’s certainly not, but you’ve got to put yourself out there. There’s no sense in complaining about the situation if you haven’t put enough of yourself out to win the prize.

This is weird, but it’s going well.
Plane ticket for you tomorrow, Enn Why See.
Bus ticket for me soon to see you.

Jeff Buckley’s “Lover, You Should Have Come Over.”
Beyond addicting.
Beyond gorgeous.

Working on a new song, more or less with the first have as the subject.
It’s sounding really great; very Stevie Wonder/Elton/my twist on chords.
I love cminor7 too much as a chord. It’s in Prove It with an F in the bass, in Au Contraire with an Ab in the bass, and now in this new one, finally in root.
